Refresh a learning resource only if it meets a query

Say you have a learning resource which is necessary for people in the accounts department to do every year. Now if we have an intern, who starts in the accounts department (on year 1 she does her training), but in year 2 she has the training assigned BUT as she is no longer in accounts there is no need for her to do the training. In these incidences her training need should not be refreshed.

📘 Instructions

To stop learners having unnecessary training refreshed every year follow these steps as a Curriculum Developer (administrators also have access to the learning library.)

  1. Log in as a Curriculum Developer

  2. Go to Add Learning Resources and edit a resource.

  3. Define a query (e.g. so that the learning matches your current test user’s department.)

  4. Check on Refresh learning resource if meets query.

  5. Complete the learning

  6. Now if the user does not meet the query after the refresh period has ended, that learning is NOT refreshed for the user.

Administrators can instead edit learning via the Learning Library.
