Adding AI Recommendations to the Site

Learners can see recommendations generated by AI which will recommend learning which has been completed by similar learners to themselves.

📘 Instructions

To set this up you will need to edit the appropriate setting.

  1. Login as an administrator

  2. Go to System Setup

  3. Go to Defaults > Settings

  4. Find the key showRecommendations

  5. Change it to True

  6. Log in as a learner - check to see if recommendations are visible at the top of the learning portfolio.

  7. As a learner, remove recommendations that are no longer needed.

Recommendations are only shown if sufficient similar learners have completed learning. Not see recommendations is not a sign that the system does not work - you may need to be patient.
