Accessing Open eLMS on you mobile device

Open eLMS can be used on mobile devices either via mobile browser or the Open eLMS App. You can use either platform (or even both) to carry out learning.

📘 Browser Instructions

Follow these steps

  1. Open your browser on your phone/tablet and go to site’s standard URL e.g. https://learning.openelms.com/XXXXXXX/login

  2. Log in using your user name and password.

  3. Carry out learning as per usual, rotate your device to landscape mode to get the largest image.

📘 App Instructions

Follow these steps

  1. Download the app from the Google Play or Apple Store.

  2. Install and then run the app.

  3. On the opening screen enter your site’s standard URL e.g. https://learning.openelms.com/XXXXXXX/login

  4. Enter your user name and password.

  5. Access the app. Download any courses should you want offline access.

  6. Run courses, rotate your device to landscape mode to get the largest image.

Note the mobile app has the advantage of being able to download eLearning for use offline and synchronise data when back online.
